Avalon By Day is a lively, welcoming daytime restaurant on Ocean Drive serving breakfast, lunch and weekend

brunch in South Beach. Located inside the historic 1941 Art Deco Avalon Hotel, it offers fresh dishes, handcrafted

cocktails, outdoor terrace dining and a front-row seat to the energy of Ocean Drive.

Is Avalon By Day the same as A Fish Called Avalon?

No. They are sister restaurants with different concepts. Avalon By Day serves breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch,

while A Fish Called Avalon offers an upscale seafood dining experience in the evening.

What are your hours?

Avalon By Day is open daily from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Holiday hours may vary.

Do you serve dinner?

No. Avalon By Day is a daytime restaurant. Dinner is served at our sister restaurant, A Fish Called Avalon.

What is the atmosphere like?

Warm, relaxed and welcoming, with great food, friendly hospitality and the energy of Ocean Drive without a party

atmosphere. Our terrace is also a great spot for people-watching, with Lummus Park and the ocean just across the

street.

Do you have outdoor seating?

Yes. Guests can dine on our open-air Ocean Drive terrace or inside our air-conditioned dining room with large bay

windows.

Are families welcome?

Yes. Avalon By Day welcomes all diners, whether you’re joining us solo, with family or friends, or as part of a group.

What kind of food do you serve?

Avalon By Day offers a varied breakfast, brunch and lunch menu with something for everyone, from Avocado Toast,

Eggs Benedict and French Toast to fresh salads, seafood, sandwiches and the Avalon Burger. Save room for our

award-winning Pecan-Crusted Key Lime Pie.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options?

Please ask our staff about vegetarian choices and options that may work for vegan, gluten-free or other dietary

What drinks do you serve?

Enjoy handcrafted cocktails, beer, wine, Mimosas and Bellinis, along with coffee, smoothies and other non-alcoholic

When is the weekend brunch?

Weekend brunch is served Friday through Sunday with live music, good food and a relaxed Ocean Drive atmosphere.

Do you offer Mimosa and Bellini specials?

Yes. 2-for-1 Mimosas and Bellinis are available throughout the week.

Do you have a Happy Hour?

Yes. Happy Hour is offered daily from 3:00–5:00 PM.

Do I need a reservation?

Both reservations and walk-ins are welcome. Reservations are a good idea for weekend brunch and larger groups.

How can I make a reservation?

Reservations are available through OpenTable and Resy.

Do you offer takeout or delivery?

Takeout is available. Avalon By Day does not currently offer delivery.

Do you have grab-and-go options?

Yes. Our takeout menu includes smoothies, açaí cups and other quick bites.

Yes. Avalon By Day hosts group dining, celebrations, corporate events and private daytime gatherings in South

Beach, with indoor and outdoor space for up to 200 guests.

What types of events can you host?

Birthday brunches, bridal and baby showers, corporate breakfasts, business meetings, team lunches, company gatherings, family celebrations and other private events.

Can I reserve the entire restaurant?

Yes. Private buyouts are available.

Do you offer group menus?

Yes. Customizable prix-fixe menus and beverage add-ons are available for groups and private events.
